​Gianfrancesco M. Villani, MD, FEBO

 Is a European board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in
diseases of the retina and low vision rehabilitation. Dr Villani completed a fellowship in Low Vision Rehabilitation at CPMC and SKERI, San Francisco, CA, with Dr D.C. Fletcher in 2007, was Chair of the LVRG at ARVO in 2014, and Vice-President of the Italian LV professionals association “PRISMA” in 2013-14. He was awarded the Lions International Melvin Jones Fellowship for helping to establish the Low
Vision and Microperimetry Center “C.R.I.M” of Verona, Italy, in 2013.
