Bringing a European Perspective to ISLRR 2027
The ESLRR Board would like to actively contribute to the 2027 International Society for Low Vision Research and Rehabilitation (ISLRR) VISION 2027 Conference, which will be held in Melbourne, Australia, from 14 to 16 September 2027.
To support the development of a strong European presence at the Congress, we are collecting ideas, proposals and key topics from the low vision and vision rehabilitation community. Our aim is to request a dedicated space from the ISLRR Scientific Committee for presentations, scientific exchange and debate, showcasing the European perspective.
What is changing in Europe? What innovative approaches are emerging? Which strategies are proving effective? And what should we expect from low vision and vision rehabilitation in the years ahead?
We invite clinicians, researchers, scientists and professionals from across Europe to help us shape this conversation by sharing the topics, ideas, research and experiences they believe should be brought to the international stage.
You may use this form to propose a topic for discussion or submit a preliminary abstract, highlighting research findings, innovative practices, new technologies, rehabilitation strategies, models of care, unmet needs or future perspectives:
Your input will help identify emerging areas of interest, current challenges and priorities within the European scientific and clinical community.
Together, we hope to build an ESLRR session that reflects the diversity, innovation and vision of the European low vision community.
