WHO Planning Guide for Integrated Vision Rehabilitation

The World Health Organization has published the Planning Guide for Integrated Vision Rehabilitation, developed with the participation of Dr Filippo Amore, Director of the Polo Nazionale Ipovisione, and President of the ESLRR.
The guide provides a practical framework to support countries in developing and integrating accessible, person-centred vision rehabilitation services within national health and eye care systems. It is intended for policymakers, health planners, eye care and rehabilitation professionals, and organizations involved in service delivery and advocacy.
The ESLRR is pleased to promote this important international resource, reflecting the Society’s commitment to supporting the development and strengthening of vision rehabilitation services worldwide.
To present the guide, the WHO will hold the webinar “Planning Guide for Integrated Vision Rehabilitation: A Deep Dive into the WHO Guidance” on 29 September, from 13:00 to 13:45 CET. Participation is free, and registration is available here. Further information can be found in the attached flyer.
